Research & Development

Avocados Australia ensures a comprehensive R&D program on behalf of all Australian Avocado growers in partnership with HAL is undertaken. Through HAL, the Australian avocado industry is able to access matched funding from the Australian Government for all R&D activities. A call is made for projects on an annual or as-needs basis to meet the strategic goals of the industry . Each project that is submitted is assessed on its benefits to the national industry.

Parties interested in submitting projects are invited to review the industry annual priorities before submitting a proposal.

The on-line proposal application form will be available at www.horticulture.com.au

The timetable below is an indicative outline of the process for levy funded R&D proposals. Each year the process and dates are available on the HAL website.
